Meet Gaby: 

Gaby is the kind of slipover you put on without thinking and never want to take off. With its slightly oversized fit, V-neck, and side slits, it layers beautifully all year round: over a dress, a shirt, or a simple t-shirt. Gaby is worked seamlessly from the top down. The back is worked flat first, then stitches are picked up for the front shoulders to shape the V-neck. The front and back are joined and worked in the round down to the hem. Twisted rib edges highlight the clean lines of this design.

The techniques: 

Stockinette stitch, knitting in the round, increases, twisted rib, picking up sts.

Gauge: 

Stockinette stitch: 19 sts x 25 rows = 10 cm [4’’]  (4,5 mm – US 7 needle)
Adjust your needle size to achieve the correct gauge.

Yarn: 

• Mérinos fingering (100% superwash merino) 175 m + for 50 gr

Approximately:

• Size 1: 125 g (435 m [475 yds]) – 3 balls of yarn

• Size 2: 145 g (510 m [558 yds]) – 3 balls of yarn

• Size 3: 175 g (610 m [667 yds]) – 4 balls of yarn
