Big crush for the Clarisse dress – Chez Machine

I had a big crush for the Clarisse dress from the recent french pattern brand Chez Machine. I really like this pattern which is perfect for my body shape.

what is it?

When I discovered Clarisse, I knew in a heart beat that it will be perfect for me. I bought it, trace, cut and sew my dress directly. I didn’t have any problem with the explanations which were very clear.
The pattern is available in a very wide range of size (34 to 56) and is offered with or without the seam allowances included. This results in a lot (and I mean it!) of lignes which are not always easy to work through.

You can chose between several options with this pattern: princess seams or dart, round neckline or heart shape, short or long sleeves.

I decided to go for the heart shaped neckline but I didn’t use fusing to stabilized it and it doesn’t stay in place.

 

HOW IS IT MADE?

I have used a very nice blue crepe fromLittle fabrics. The quality of this fabric is absolutely awesome.

which size is it?

I have sewn a size 36 increased to a 38 from the waist.

is it modified?

Not at all.

are you happy with it?

Clarisse directly got into my top 3 of my favorite dresses. I think that it has the prefect fit and shape for me.
