Printed Viscose
For fabrics sold by the meter, we primarily work with viscose. This fabric is easy to sew because it's fluid yet stable; perfect for sewing pretty dresses, blouses, skirts, or shirts. Our viscose fabrics with exclusive prints are printed in France, in the Rhône-Alpes region. We work with a French factory whose expertise has been recognized for decades as a Living Heritage Company . Our factory is Oeko-Tex , FSC (meaning not sourced from deforestation), and REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) certified. Our signature viscose is ECOVERO™ certified, a fiber sourced from sustainably managed forests and produced using environmentally friendly processes. It offers exceptional softness, a beautiful drape, and a reduced environmental impact.
Cotton Satin
It is to this same factory, which shares our responsible values, that we entrusted the production of our cotton satins. Printed in France, just a few kilometers from Lyon, they will delight seamstresses who favor a 100% cotton wardrobe. Extremely soft and silky, our satins are made of pure Oeko-Tex cotton with a very fine weave.
viscose jersey
As comfortable as cotton jersey, viscose jersey stands out for its elegant drape and fluidity. Heavier in weight, it offers a beautiful structure while remaining stretchy and pleasant to wear. Our viscose jersey, FSC and STeP by OEKO-TEX® certified , is printed in France .
Gabardine
Our gabardine is a slightly stretchy cotton fabric available in seven colors: Nude, Verbena, Fir Green, Ink, Violet, Super Pink , and Caramel . These are the exact same shades as our wools and buttons. Integrated into the Lise Tailor palette, they will also be found on our patterned viscose fabrics. Our goal: to allow you to create perfectly coordinated outfits that are 100% Lise Tailor. The elastane in this fabric makes it supple and comfortable, allowing for freedom of movement throughout the day. This material is dyed in France, in the Rhône-Alpes region. This fabric is FSC and STeP by OEKO-TEX® certified.
Viscose veil
Lightweight, soft, and subtly sheer, it offers an airy drape perfect for delicate blouses, light dresses, or refined shirts. Depending on the garment sewn, a lining may be necessary to ensure opacity in desired areas. Our exclusive patterned viscose voile is printed in France, in the Rhône Alpes region. We work with a French factory that has recognized expertise for several decades, certified as an Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company). Our factory is certified Oeko Tex, FSC (meaning not from deforestation), and REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals). Our voile is 100% viscose, certified STeP by OEKO-TEX® class II.

All our buttons are Made in France, certified Step by Oeko-tex and FSC . Made to order, they are all available in our 26-color palette. All our buttons are produced exclusively for Lise Tailor. Our Sewing Patterns
Drawing on her extensive experience as a seamstress and professional expertise, Lise Tailor has embarked on creating her own patterns to enhance these lovely fabrics.
Thanks to a detailed booklet and meticulous attention to detail in the instructions, all sewists will be able to sew our patterns. Diagrams are included in a precise step-by-step guide to help them with confidence. The full-size pattern pieces range from size 34 to 48. Everything comes in an adorable printed pouch with pretty scalloped edges.
Our Wools
Lise returned to her first love, knitting, by launching her own yarn in October 2021. At the request of our customers, it was only natural to offer our own high-quality knitting yarns, made from premium, natural fibers. We chose to work with an ethical and responsible spinning mill in South Africa, close to the herds, and in Italy for our new Aube base. Our Mohair base meets the RMS (Responsible Mohair Standard) , which guarantees animal-friendly practices. Our yarns are also all certified cruelty-free . This means that no animals are mistreated during the production of our yarns. Lise wanted to showcase her five favorite yarns: 100% Merino fingering weight, Silk Mohair, Silk Merino, Cumulus, and Aube.
