The great comeback of knitting

Lise P. can finally combine her two passions: sewing and knitting . It's a true pleasure, even a dream come true (let's not mince words) , to be able to offer quality products from her two favorite pastimes. While Lise has been sewing for 10 years, she's been knitting for over 20. She started her first rows alongside her grandmother. This launch therefore means a great deal to her: a tribute to her childhood. Lise Tailor began as a knitting-focused blog, which led her to become the author of the bestseller "Je me mets au tricot" (I'm Taking Up Knitting). Lise enjoyed sharing with this supportive knitting community so much that she reluctantly neglected it a bit lately in favor of fabrics and sewing. Lise D. took up knitting a few months ago, and Céline was already knitting, proving that the world of sewing is never far removed from that of knitting. Lise had long dreamed of offering quality yarns in our colors. It took some patience and waiting for the company to grow to take on this challenge. And now it's a reality!

Our bases

Lise Tailor yarns are composed of 6 bases: Silk Mohair, Fingering Merino, Cumulus, Silk Merino, Aube and Filena. Knitted alone or together, our yarns allow you to create the lace, fingering, or DK weight patterns offered by designers, thus varying the resulting look. You can easily care for your knits as they are machine washable (wool cycle, 20°C recommended, 30°C max, gentle spin).

Our certifications

Our wools are RWS certified: A global standard that aims for the welfare of sheep and the respect of pastures, certifies the origin of the wool and the monitoring of farms.

Our Mohair base complies with the RMS (Responsible Mohair Standard). This certification ensures that goat breeders have animal-friendly practices and a progressive approach to managing their land.

Our Merino is traceable to the farm, certified mulesing-free and meets the Reach standard (meaning no harmful chemicals are used).

Our merino and mohair wools are also all certified cruelty-free. This means that no animals are mistreated during the production of these yarns.

Our Filena base is a 100% GOTS certified organic cotton yarn made in Italy, designed to knit light, breathable and luminous pieces.
