General Terms and Conditions of Sale

Effective August 1, 2025

1. Scope and purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“GTC”) apply, without restriction or reservation, to all sales concluded between:

LISE TAILOR SAS , a simplified joint-stock company with a share capital of €1,000, registered with the Lyon Trade and Companies Register under number 838 974 137, whose registered office is located at 15 rue du Garet, 69001 Lyon, France, represented by its legal representative (“the Seller”),

and any non-professional consumer (“the Customer”) wishing to purchase the products offered by the Seller (“the Products”) via the website www.lisetailor.com (“the Site”).

The Site allows internet users to purchase, remotely, Products defined in article 4. The General Terms and Conditions specify in particular the conditions of ordering, payment, delivery, return and handling of any disputes.

The Site's Products and services are intended exclusively for private individuals for personal and non-commercial use. Any resale or professional use is prohibited.

The Client declares that they have the legal capacity required to contract and acquire the Products.

Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions is effected by the "double-click" process (order confirmation) and constitutes full and unreserved acceptance. Any special conditions or reservations expressed by the Customer will be deemed null and void.

These Terms and Conditions are accessible at any time on the Website and shall prevail over any other version. The Seller may modify them at any time; the applicable version is the one in effect on the date of the order.

2. Definitions

Client / Buyer : natural person of legal age, consumer, ordering one or more Products for strictly personal use.
Order : firm and final purchase of one or more Products, validated by the Customer on the Site.
Sewing/knitting kit : a set of products (fabrics, wools, accessories needed to make any model) as well as an instruction booklet in paper or digital format (PDF) sent by email after validation and payment of the order.
Product(s) : tangible or digital goods offered for sale on the Site.
Digital product(s) : patterns, booklets or other digital files provided in electronic format.
Pre-order : an order placed before the official release of a Product, with immediate payment and deferred delivery.

3. Access to the Site and customer account

3.1 Access to the Site

Access to the Site is free for any user with internet access.
The Seller strives to ensure continuous availability of the Site, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, particularly in the event of maintenance, breakdown or force majeure.

3.2 Account Creation

An account must be created to place an order.
The Client must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. Any false or incomplete information may result in the suspension or deletion of the account.
The account is personal and cannot be transferred.

4. Products

4.1 Introduction

The Products offered for sale are described as accurately as possible on the Site.
The photos, illustrations and scenarios are given for illustrative purposes only and have no contractual value.

4.2 Sewing kits and patterns

The creations illustrating the Kits or patterns are examples of what can be achieved and may differ from the result obtained by the Client depending on their choices and skills.
The contents of a Sewing Kit or Knitting Kit may vary slightly (accessories, colors) depending on supplies, without altering its quality or purpose.

5. Order

5.1 Ordering Process

The order is placed via the Site, in French and in euros, according to the "double click" process:

Product selection and addition to cart.
Final validation after verification and possible modification of order and delivery information.

Any confirmed order obliges the Customer to immediate payment of the total amount.
The information entered by the Customer is their sole responsibility. The Seller cannot be held liable for errors in data entry or address, and any reshipping costs will be borne by the Customer.

5.2 Product Availability

Products are offered subject to availability. In the event of unavailability after ordering, the Customer will be informed and refunded within a maximum of 30 days.

5.3 Pre-orders

Some products may be offered for pre-order before their official release.
The Customer acknowledges that payment is taken immediately at the time of pre-order , and that delivery will take place on the announced date or within a reasonable time after that date.
The release date is indicative and may be changed by the Seller.
If the order includes both pre-ordered Products and Products available immediately, shipping is deferred until all Products are available.

The secret boxes that are sold on pre-order are produced specifically according to pre-orders, with an exclusive fabric created for the occasion , and, as such, they are not subject to the right of withdrawal (article L221-28).

5.4 Refusal or cancellation by the Seller

The Seller reserves the right to cancel any order:

in the event of default or payment incident,
in the event of fraud or suspicion of fraud,
in case of an abnormal order (quantities or professional use),
if the Products ordered are intended for resale.

6. Price and payment terms

6.1 Price

Prices are shown in euros, inclusive of all taxes, excluding delivery charges.
Delivery costs are specified before order confirmation.
Promotional offers or discount codes cannot be combined and do not apply to books (law no. 81-766 of August 10, 1981), gift cards and certain exclusive sets.

6.2 Payment

Payment is made at the time of order, by credit card (Visa, Mastercard) or PayPal.
The Client guarantees that they have the necessary authorizations to use the chosen payment method.

6.3 Security

Payments are secure. Bank details are not stored by the Seller.
The validation of the order by the Client constitutes a firm commitment and makes the sums due payable.

7. Delivery

7.1 Delivery Zones and Methods

The Products are deliverable to the countries listed on the "Deliveries and Returns" page of the Site.
The available methods vary depending on the destination: tracked letter, Colissimo, relay point, store collection.

Tracked letter : This shipping method does not include insurance. In case of loss or delivery error by the carrier, no refund or replacement will be issued. Choosing this shipping method constitutes express acceptance of this condition by the Customer.

7.2 Deadlines

The delivery times indicated at the time of ordering are estimates. Any delay will not give rise to compensation or cancellation, except in the case of exceeding the maximum legal delivery time.

7.3 Delivery charges

Delivery costs are specified before order confirmation.
In the event of a return due to an incorrect address or an unclaimed package, the reshipping and return costs charged to the Seller by the carrier will be passed on to the Customer.

7.4 Customs

For deliveries outside the European Union, the Customer is the importer and assumes all duties and taxes, as well as customs clearance fees.

8. Right of withdrawal

8.1 Statutory deadline

The Customer has 14 days from receipt of the Product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without giving any reason or penalty.

All products made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized, such as surprise kits but also fabric by the meter, are not subject to the right of withdrawal (article L221-28).

8.2 Return Conditions

The Products must be returned:

New, complete, unworn, unwashed, with tags and original packaging.
For fabrics: in their original length, uncut,
accompanied by the purchase invoice.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Initial delivery charges are non-refundable.
The refund will be issued within 14 days of receipt of the conforming Products.

8.3 Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

Downloaded digital products (PDF patterns),
Customized, made-to-measure or custom-cut products,
Signed books.

For digital products, the customer expressly waives their right of withdrawal upon downloading the file.

9. Legal Guarantees

The Client benefits from:

of the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L.217-3 to L.217-20 of the Consumer Code),
of the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code).

In the event of a defective or non-conforming Product, the Customer must inform the Seller within a reasonable time and provide evidence and photos.
The Seller will replace, repair or refund according to the most appropriate solution, including return shipping costs up to the standard rate.

10. Intellectual Property

The patterns, sewing kits, content, visuals and elements of the Site are protected by the Intellectual Property Code.

Any reproduction, distribution, resale, modification or commercial use is prohibited without the Seller's written consent.
The sale of creations made from Lise Tailor products is prohibited, except with written authorization.
The patterns and digital files are reserved for strictly personal and private use.

11. Responsibility

The Seller cannot be held liable for:

from any improper use of the Products,
for any damage resulting from professional use,
for losses or damages related to the "tracked letter" delivery method,
delays or defects attributable to the carrier, customs, or force majeure,
service interruptions or malfunctions related to the Internet network.

The Seller is not responsible for the content and services of third-party sites accessible from the Site.

12. Personal data and cookies

12.1 Collection and purposes

The Seller collects the Customer's personal data for the following purposes:

process and deliver orders,
manage the customer account and the business relationship,
to comply with legal obligations
send marketing communications if the Client has consented.

12.2 Legal basis

The treatment is based on:

the execution of the contract (order),
compliance with legal obligations,
consent (newsletter, non-essential cookies).

12.3 Conservation

The data is retained for:

the time required to manage the business relationship,
3 years after the last contact for marketing purposes,
longer if required by law.

12.4 Customer Rights

In accordance with the GDPR, the Client has the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, limitation, portability and withdrawal of consent.
He can exercise these rights by contacting contact@lisetailor.com and specifying his identity.
The Client may lodge a complaint with the CNIL.

12.5 Cookies

The Site uses:

cookies necessary for its operation
audience measurement and marketing cookies subject to the Client's consent.

The Customer can manage their preferences in their browser or via the cookie banner.

13. Disputes and applicable law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, the Customer must seek an amicable solution by contacting the Seller.

The Customer may use a consumer mediator free of charge ( www.economie.gouv.fr/mediation-conso ) before taking any legal action.

In the absence of an amicable agreement, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts in the jurisdiction of the Seller's registered office.
