Framilastic T9

Framilastic tape from the renowned brand Vlieseline is a highly elastic, transparent sew-on tape (stretching up to 4.5 times its length). This tape is soft, comfortable to wear, and hypoallergenic. It is particularly well-suited for making stretch garments, as well as for creating decorative pieces with gathers, ruffles, and smocking. It is an invaluable aid and very easy to sew; it is one of the brand's flagship products, widely used by seamstresses.

How to use it:

- Cut the framilastic shorter than the desired final length, this varying depending on the degree of gathering desired.

- Stitch the beginning of the strip flat onto the fabric for 1 cm without gathering, this is to hold it in place.

- Stretch the strip and sew it using a stretch stitch such as a zigzag stitch. The strip should be stitched evenly down its center to ensure a perfect fit.
