Stabilhandle Vlieseline 12mm - White

The Formband - Stabilmanche tape from the renowned brand Vlieseline is a bias-cut fusible tape with a chain stitch, designed to stabilize bias-cut (diagonal) or curved edges of fabric. It is particularly useful in garment making, facilitating the finishing and assembly of bias-cut or curved pieces. An invaluable aid, it is one of the brand's flagship products, widely used by seamstresses.

How to use the Stabilmanche Vlieseline 12mm?

The trim is 12 mm wide, with a 4/8 mm chain stitch along its length. The trim should be fused so that the 8 mm side lies along the selvedge. It should be stitched directly next to the chain stitch line.

- Place the rough side of the interfacing on the wrong side of your fabric and pre-fix the ends with your iron set to a low temperature.
- Iron on a dry surface, moving the iron every 8 seconds without sliding to avoid stretching the piece. - Allow to cool for 20 minutes after fixing, lying flat to ensure perfect adhesion.
