Description
Meet Effie:
The Effie set allows you to test 3 of our yarn bases: merinos fingering, mohair-silk and cumulus.
The Effie Hat was designed with beginners in mind: a simple and timeless pattern, worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom up. The brim is worked in half-twisted rib, while the body is in stockinette stitch. Quick to knit, it will soon become a winter essential — perfect to offer or to wear on cold days.
Effie Mittens are worked in the round, from the bottom up. The cuff and thumb are worked in half-twisted rib, and the upper part of the mittens is finished with a few rounds of garter stitch for a neat and cosy edge. The thumb is shaped with simple increases, and the whole piece is quickly knitted in Cumulus for a soft and warm result.
