General information on the collection and processing of your data

1. Treatment framework

In principle, we only process personal data to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. Personal data is processed on a regular basis and only with the consent of those concerned. An exception applies in cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for factual reasons and where data processing is permitted by law.

Your data will only be processed with your consent or if such processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party, or in order to take action at your request before entering into a contractual obligation, or on the basis of a legitimate interest, cf. RGPD Art. 6.

In principle, we only retain personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the contractual or legal obligations for which we collected the data. After that, we delete the data immediately, unless we still need the data until the expiry of the statutory limitation period for purposes of proof for civil law claims or due to statutory retention obligations.

We delete or block the data subject’s personal data as soon as the purpose of storage is fulfilled. It may also be stored if this is provided for by European or national legislators in EU regulations, laws or regulations to which our company is subject. Data will also be blocked or deleted on expiry of a retention period prescribed by the aforementioned standards, unless it is necessary to retain the data for the conclusion or performance of a contract.

3.1 Data retention policy

Due to tax legislation, account data will be retained for a maximum of five full tax years from the termination of your account.

Configuration data and data generated by the system will be deleted immediately when you cancel your account.

3.2 Retention of data for compliance with legal requirements

You may not require these default retention periods to be modified, except for the reasons for deletion set out in point 3.3; you may, however, suggest modifications to comply with specific sectoral laws and regulations.

3.3 Return and/or deletion of data

No data will be retained after termination of the contract, with the exception of account data. You can request a copy of this data before termination. However, be careful not to close your account before receiving a copy of this data, otherwise we will not be able to send it to you.

1. Description and scope of data processing

You can contact us via various options on our website. If you make use of these options, the data entered in the input mask will be transmitted to us and stored. In addition to these specific entries, the IP address and the date and time of the request are collected and stored.

You can also contact us by e-mail. In this case, your personal data transmitted by e-mail will be stored.

In this context, the data will not be communicated to third parties unless this is necessary to process the request. In all cases, the data will be used exclusively to process the conversation, unless otherwise agreed.

The processing of personal data from the input mask is solely for the purpose of processing your request;

4. Storage duration.

If you have booked a demonstration, requested product information or an offer, we reserve the right to keep the data for two years in order to measure the profitability of our sales and marketing.

Otherwise, we will delete the data as soon as it is no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. In the case of personal data entered in the contact form and those sent by e-mail, this happens when the corresponding conversation with the user has ended.

The conversation is over when it can be deduced from the circumstances that the relevant facts have been definitively clarified.

5. Possibility of opposition and withdrawal

You may revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time.

If you contact us by e-mail, you may object at any time to the storage of your personal data. In this case, the conversation cannot continue.

In this case, all personal data stored as part of the contact will be deleted.

Newsletter

When you register for the newsletter, the data entered in the input mask will also be stored for the purpose of sending the newsletter. The legal basis for this processing is art. 6.

Your e-mail address, the time of subscription and the IP address used for subscription will be kept for as long as you subscribe to our newsletter.

This service is provided by means of a double opt-in. This means that you will receive an e-mail containing a link by which you can confirm that you are the owner of the e-mail address and that you wish to be informed via our messaging service.

You can unsubscribe from this service at any time by clicking on the link provided in each newsletter;

If you subscribe to the newsletter, you will be informed of relevant changes to the service.
