Backstage #11

NEWS…

At the moment, we are working in parallel on the launch of the spring collection in mid-March and on that of the summer collection which will be presented very soon to our retailers… Between these two launches, we are also making progress on a project which will link our love of sewing and fabric, pretty new products will soon see the light of day but it is still too early to tell you about them. We are also taking advantage of this calmer time to prepare beautiful content and transport you to our girly universe. 💗

We have fun ! 🎨

Mathilde, our communication manager, started this week creating gifs with the patterns of the new collection. After a little run-in on Photoshop, she has prepared some pretty dancing patterns that you can use on Instagram when you share your pretty creations. Spoiler alert: it’s so beautiful and cute!

We take advantage of this in-between to prepare some funny little “sides”. Jumping reals, wallpapers, photos… We try to vary our communication to always please and surprise you.

If you search for “lisetailor” in the gifs on Instagram you will already find many sewing and knitting animations. Have you ever used them?

We sew ! 🪡

This week, the Lise(s) duo made their plan of attack of all that remains to be sewn for the launches of the upcoming collections. This season, as we told you above, we want to offer you plenty of inspiration and for that, what could be better than lots of pretty pieces sewn in our fabrics. Of course, they are happy to spend time with their sewing machines, but it still requires real organization to get everything right between the different photo shoots.

And to start, Lise P sewed this pretty Orchidée dress from Deer and doe in our Herbier viscose. It was a question of validating this pattern in anticipation of a more spring version. Lise is delighted because it is perfect as it is without modification!

We are already preparing for summer… 2023! 👒

Will you believe me if I tell you that this week we chose our first patterns for the spring-summer 2023 season? And yes, we are working well in advance so it is already time to plan more than a year ahead. Inevitably, it’s motus and tight mouth about them but don’t worry, we are already preparing some very nice things for the year 2022 which has just started.

Focus on our favorite designer: Petit D’om

Petit D’om

Hat and Mittens Bidibou in jersey Harmonie

We are completely under the spell of this set that is way too cute. It’s the perfect model of the season for our little ones. Ideal before the winter holidays and outings in the snow, it will also be used to sew a very nice birth gift. It is quick and easy to sew. The shape of the hat covers the ears well to keep our little ones warm. Ties keep the earmuffs firmly against the face.
