We are all touched and sensitive to the current situation in Ukraine. We also wanted to make our modest contribution to help this people in the grip of so much violence. This is why we are launching a solidarity fabric whose profits will be donated to the Red Cross.
Some of you may have noticed that we featured several patterns for children in our January pattern magazine. In motion and to the sound of laughter, we organized a dynamic and touching shoot in our showroom! While we have just received the spring collection, the summer collection is in production. We unveiled our summer creations to our resellers who were able to place their pre-orders. Last Friday, we took the time for a live and we have to schedule a new one very soon.

We took the time to think about how we could help these people by staying in our creative process. The idea jumped out at us and made perfect sense with this Esquisse fabric for which we had just launched color tests for the summer of 2023. This colorization echoing the flag of Ukraine was a great way to make a good action. Our fabric is on pre-order for one week, from March 7 to 13 and will be delivered to you within 2 months. All proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross. Keep your eyes open and this name in mind because you may find it in very different colors soon 🤫

To adapt to the schedule of our little models, we organized our shoot on the first Saturday of the school holidays! We have done everything possible to make this moment a moment of joy and laughter. Lise’s duo scoured the city center of Lyon in search of bubbles, balloons, puzzles, lollipops… All subterfuges are possible to have beautiful photos. We are already cracking up in front of the adorable photos of Samuel, Mathias, Blanche, Jade, Gaby and Iris! They were perfect and we can’t wait to reveal the surprises we have in store for you.

Were you there during the live?! We loved meeting you last Friday for this little chatting session. It’s a pleasure to be with you live and to exchange together… a real moment that boosts during this sad time! It is full of energy that we leave to prepare for the imminent spring launch. For technical problems, we were unable to put the replay on Instagram. We have mentioned our desire to offer you Matriochka viscose on a permanent basis. As soon as we restart a production, it is very quickly exhausted. Our goal is to satisfy you and not frustrate you, so Matriochka will continue to accompany us. We also talked about wool with the launch of new colors and a new base. Thanks to your enthusiasm for this new product, everything is already online!

Our retailers had the privilege of discovering our lookbook for the summer of 2022. They have already been able to place their pre-orders for this collection, which allows us to produce the right stock (and avoid excessive overproduction or, conversely, not produce enough). Our factory is already printing our lovely patterns. For each fabric, we print tests to ensure the rendering of the colors, the texture, the desired quality. We print a short yardage to sew one or two outfits to show the sewn fabric to our resellers but that doesn’t allow us to satisfy our desire for sewing so we can’t wait to receive the production!

Pants Sheebam in viscose Comète
Do you remember our latest version of our “I love you” pattern sewn in Comète viscose?! See you here. Here is the perfect pattern to make the same outfit for your little girl. Petit D’om offers you this pretty pattern for shorts or light trousers, available from 2 to 16 years old. This model is worn on the hips. For maximum comfort, the waistband is elasticated and may or may not be topped with a frill. Sheebam can be sewn with pockets, the opening of which can be decorated with frills, piping or braid… You can really have fun and vary the styles; which makes it a pattern that can be sewn and re-sewn!

Two cuts are available for the shorts: a flared cut that rises slightly on the side and whose hem is embellished with a ruffle or a simple and straight cut. Depending on the fabric used and the version chosen, Sheebam is available as pajama bottoms, as well as shorts or light pants for the summer. Its simplest version is very quick to sew. We totally share Petit d’om’s opinion: pajamas are an ideal project to start and progress in sewing. It’s a piece of clothing that doesn’t leave the house, so if it’s not perfect, it doesn’t matter.
