The past few weeks have been spent preparing for an all-important photo shoot that took place this past weekend. For once, we called on models from our beautiful creative community who volunteered to highlight a project that is still kept secret. After the fittings, we finalized the last touch-ups on the models. It’s a project we’ve been working on for a long time and the stress was at its peak. We need very specific photos and everything must be anticipated… not so simple!
Taking pretty photos takes a lot of work up front. We took advantage of the place we rented over several days to also take pictures of some creations sewn with autumn-winter fabrics.
Today, we reveal a project on which we also worked behind the scenes: our visit at the end of the month to Paris at the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann!! Notice to Parisians, Lise Tailor is coming to the capital for a week for a very special pop-up store!
Not to mention the good news of the week, the arrival of our intern Candice who was immediately immersed in Lise Tailor’s whirlpool bath!
SHOOTING UNDER HIGH VOLTAGE
One of the most important steps of our big project
If you remember a few months ago we launched a call for applications to be our models for the day. The girls took a break last weekend to bring our big project to life. We have been working in secret for a year on this major project. The secret will be lifted in the fall, the time to finalize it and you will be the first to know! Unlike our usual shoots, this one was therefore particularly important. Lise D. and Lise P. spent a lot of time behind their machines to sew all the outfits and adapt them to the sizes of our different models. As we like to leave nothing to chance, we also thought of all the styling we wanted for these photos: accessories, colors, flowers… The desired atmosphere was particular and we had precise ideas on the poses, the installation, group photos, duo… Mathilde also put her talents as a make-up artist to work to enhance our models.
The fall will be COZY with Lise Tailor this year!

We have great news to announce: for the first time Lise Tailor will be in Paris, at the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann for a pop-up store week! This is the perfect opportunity to introduce you exclusively to our new “Great beginners” sewing kits. A chance also to come and discover our products in real life and chat with us.

Welcome Candice !
We are pleased to welcome Candice for her internship as part of her Bachelor of Fashion Design training at the Condé school in Lyon. She will spend a month and a half with us and we are delighted to have her here.
Her missions will mainly be the development of trend boards, pattern drawings and sewing supervised by Lise D. who puts her whole heart into sharing her precious advice and experience. Candice will notably sew the next version of our prototype. She has already participated in the sewing of a top. This is a little hack of our Janie jumpsuit pattern in a short-sleeved top version. The fronts and backs have simply been lengthened by 10 cm to create a blouse version. She also added extra buttonholes.

Lucie is a young designer from Grenoble who has just started her activity. A few weeks ago, on her birthday, she made the choice to make her passion her job and inevitably her entrepreneurial story touches us a lot. Her philosophy: “a garment is perfect when you almost forget you are wearing it. But when you pass in front of a mirror, it also makes you feel beautiful and gives you a dose of immediate confidence!”

For her second boss, she chose to develop this beautiful swimsuit. Etna is choosing to be sexy with the maxi slit or to be subtly sexy with the mini slit. The back is also sublime!
