Escapade au Soleil – Pattern book (in french)

Erratum: Despite our numerous rereadings, the marking of the buttonholes on the shorts pattern board does not correspond to the legend. The XS marking corresponds to S, S to M, M to L, L to XL and XL to XXL. This has no impact on the rest of the patronage.

Introduction :

« Escapade au Soleil » invites you to stroll through the streets of an old village or along the edges of a beach. But this escape is also, and obviously, creative: this book, we hope, will inspire your summer suitcase. Browse these pages and discover the places that inspired handmade looks.

With this book, you will discover 4 creative worlds made up of sewing patterns as well as accessories to use your scraps, but also knitting models. We know that creative people are full of ideas and so we took great pleasure in integrating an embroidery model and a DIY that you can do with your children without worry.

Each chapter has its favorite subject. So, for a city getaway, you will sew viscose and canvas, a Merino-silk yarn for a nap under the pines, Lycra swimsuit for your stroll on the beach, and jersey for an evening out at a restaurant terrace .

The objective here is to support you in the discovery of these materials. Moreover, you will find a detailed technical notebook at the beginning of the book with all our tips: how to choose them, cut them and sew them.

These patterns have been designed to accompany you during your summer walks, guaranteeing you elegance and comfort.

As with all our patterns, we have taken particular care with each step-by-step so that they are as educational as possible. We support you, one step at a time, by sharing our tips and advice to give you the feeling that we are right next to you.

Escapade à la plage

• The swimsuit – 60 cm of lycra from size 34 to 44 and 80 cm from size 46 to 52 + 50 cm of swimsuit lining + a jewel ring + 3 m Rubber elastic 8mm (+ 1 m Rubber elastic 12mm from the size 46 au 52) + 2 m Rubber elastic T6
• I use my scraps: The washing bag (downloadable pattern with a QR code) – 20 cm of lycra + 20 cm of swimsuit lining
• Shirt – 195 cm of Chambray + 10 cm interfacing + 10 buttons from 9 mm to 12 mm
• Tote bag – 120 cm of canva + 60 cm of lining + 70 cm of fleece

Escapade en terrasse

• Midi skirt – 185 cm + 6 buttons of 12 to 15 mm + 10 cm interfacing + 30 to 57 cm of 3.5 cm elastic belt
• I use my scraps: The bracelet – 30 cm bias strip (3 cm wide)
• Le body – 135 cm de jersey de coton + 10 cm thermocollant + 3 boutons pression
• Bodysuit – 135 cm of cotton jersey + 10 cm interfacing + 3 snap buttons
